Laem Mae Phim is a sandy beach of about 4 km in Klaeng district, east of Ban Phe, with a road running along its whole length. The western part, next to Hat Wang Kaew, is quieter, with wide sand shaded by pines and Indian almond trees and pavilions at intervals. From the middle towards the cape, resorts, seafood restaurants and shops line the shore. The Mae Phim shrine with a Guanyin statue stands by the beach.
