About this beach

Ao Phai is a small bay on Koh Samet’s east coast, a short way south of Hat Sai Kaew beyond Ao Hin Khok. Its white sand is lined with bungalows, restaurants and bars, and in the evening seafood barbecues and a busy late-night bar give it a lively feel, though it stays calmer than Hat Sai Kaew. A path over a small headland leads south to Ao Phutsa.
