Ao Nuan is a tiny, secluded cove on Koh Samet’s east coast, about ten minutes’ walk through the bush south of Ao Phutsa or down a gravel track. Simple handmade bamboo bungalows stand by its small patch of sand and there are few places to eat, so the atmosphere stays very quiet. Coral lies just offshore.
