About this beach
Ao Phutsa is a small sandy bay on Koh Samet’s east coast, reached from Ao Phai by a short walk over a headland. It suits visitors escaping the crowds and nightlife of the northern beaches, with a few bungalow resorts and a restaurant by the sand. Coral lies just offshore, and snorkelling is best at low tide.
