About this beach

Laem Charoen Beach is a sandy spit at the mouth of the Rayong River, about 5 km south of the town centre, where the chain of city beaches running from Saeng Chan comes to an end. At its tip stand a municipal park with a shrine and the Rayong lighthouse. The area is known for fish sauce, processed seafood and fresh catch landed by local fishing boats. The shore shelves fairly steeply, so take care in the water.
