About this beach

Ao Wong Duean is a crescent-shaped bay midway down Koh Samet’s east coast, with roughly 500 m of clean white sand. The island’s second-largest beach, it has plenty of shade and is lined with resorts, restaurants and a mini-mart. Boats from the mainland call directly at its pier, so day-trippers and boat traffic are part of the scene. Like most of the island, it lies within a national park that charges an entry fee.
