Lamberts Beach is a sandy surf beach at Slade Point, north of Mackay and close to residential areas. Ram Chandra Park beside the shore provides parking, picnic tables, barbecues, three beach showers, toilets and a shaded children’s playground. The area suits shoreline walks, relaxed recreation and swimming during the seasonal patrol period. Marine stinger risks are relevant on the Mackay coast, so protective measures and local warnings should be taken seriously.
