Iluka Beach

Iluka Beach, long known locally as Town Beach, is the sandy Mackay foreshore beside Iluka Park. The park provides beach access, parking, showers, toilets, shaded seating, picnic tables, barbecues and an all-abilities playground. Visitors come for sunrise views toward Flat and Round Top islands, walking, fishing and kiteboarding, with the Bluewater Trail beginning nearby. Broad tidal flats make it more suited to relaxed foreshore activities than conventional wave surfing.
