Kings Beach
Kings Beach is a broad sandy beach in Bowen with views across Gloucester, Middle and Stone Islands. Large granite boulders shelter the mangroves of Magazine Creek, giving the shoreline a distinctive natural character. It is generally a quiet place for walking, relaxing, occasional fishing and kite-surfing, with the northern end designated for off-leash dogs. The largely undeveloped setting rewards visitors who arrive prepared with the essentials.
