About this beach
Zen Beach is a small stretch of soft sand at the north-western end of Sri Thanu bay on Koh Phangan’s west coast. Facing west, it is best known for its sunset gatherings, with yoga, meditation and music around the beach bar and, on some evenings, a drum circle. The water is shallow, but scattered rocks lie in the sea, so care is needed when going in.
