Ao Nai Wok starts at the northern edge of Thong Sala and follows the coast as a slender band of sand, so the town’s ferry piers and night market can be reached on foot. A sandbar lies offshore, and the view takes in the islets of Koh Tae Nai and Koh Tae Nok; Koh Tae Nai is about ten minutes away by kayak. Because the bay catches the wind, it is also used for windsurfing and sailing.
