About this beach

Bottle Beach (Hat Khuat) is a long, wide stretch of soft white sand in a sheltered cove on Koh Phangan’s north coast. Once a fishing community, it drew European visitors from the 1980s, became popular with backpackers and still has only a few resorts and restaurants. Boats from Chaloklum are the easiest way in; otherwise there is a demanding hike of 1.5 hours or more from Haad Khom, or a rough road.
