About this beach
White Sand Beach, or Hat Sai Khao, is a long beach on Koh Chang’s west coast, a short drive from the ferry piers. Its northern two-thirds have powdery pale sand backed by palms and forested hills, while the southern end turns stony. The built-up centre, lined with resorts, restaurants and bars, is the island’s busiest stretch; the far north is quieter, and the sand widens at low tide.
