Chai Chet Beach is the roughly 1.5 km northern section of the Klong Prao shore on Koh Chang’s west coast, running from the rocky Chai Chet cape south to the Klong Prao river mouth. It has mid-range bungalow resorts and a few beachside restaurants, yet rarely feels crowded. The river mouth is usually too deep to wade across and only turns shallower late in the high season, so take care when crossing.
