About this beach
Kai Bae is a coconut-fringed sandy beach on Koh Chang’s west coast, backed by resorts, restaurants and shops and popular with families. The central stretch is narrow and becomes stony at low tide, while the southern end has a longer strip of sand. Small islands lie just offshore, and kayaks can be hired to paddle out to them.
