Wai Chaek is a remote crescent of sand in a sheltered bay on Koh Chang’s south coast, framed by rocky points and backed by coconut palms, with a mangrove-lined lagoon at its eastern end. There are no resorts or restaurants. Access is by a rough, unfinished road and sandy track or by hired boat, and at very high tide the sand can be almost completely covered.
