About this beach
Than Sadet Beach is a short, fine-sand bay about 8 km north of Haad Rin on Koh Phangan’s east coast, framed by high hills and jungle. The Than Sadet stream meets the sea here, and boulders along its course bear the carved initials of Thai kings who visited the area. A few bungalows and restaurants line the bay, which can be reached by road or, in calm seas, by boat from Haad Rin.
