About this beach
Sri Thanu Beach curves along the bay in front of Sri Thanu village on Koh Phangan’s west coast, about ten minutes by road from Thong Sala. Its white sand is lined with bungalow resorts and beachfront restaurants, and the calm water stays very shallow for a long way out. A boat anchorage marks its south-eastern end, Zen Beach adjoins it to the north-west and a reef offshore draws snorkellers.
