About this beach

Ratchakarun Beach lies behind the Thai Red Cross Khao Lan Center, on the site of a former Cambodian refugee camp north of Khlong Yai. The gently sloping pale sand, shaded by casuarinas, is a quiet recreation spot for local residents, and the centre offers lodging and a camping area. Dolphins are sometimes seen offshore, while waves can strengthen during the monsoon.
