About this beach
Mai Rut Beach lies by Ban Mai Rut, a large fishing village on Trat’s mainland coast close to the Cambodian border. Fine pale sand alternates with rocky patches, and fresh seafood can be bought at the village pier. Colourful jellyfish are known to gather here from late October to mid-November, so take care in the water; dolphins are occasionally spotted offshore.
