Long Beach (Hat Sai Yao) is a remote, palm-fringed crescent of sand about 400 metres long in the far south-east of Koh Chang, backed by jungle-covered hills and looking out to nearby islands. It is reached by a paved hill road of about 7 km with wide views, and a memorial to the 1941 naval battle stands nearby. The bay is sheltered, and a lot of plastic can wash up in the rainy season.
