Lonely Beach, known in Thai as Hat Tha Nam, is a long sandy bay on the southern part of Koh Chang’s west coast, backed by forested hills and facing the sunset. Beach bars rent out kayaks and paddleboards, and the lively bar strip beside the rocky shore to the south is the island’s main party area. The sand gives way to stones at the southern end.
