Koh Ngam Beach is the sandbar, about 100 metres long and 40 metres wide, that joins the two forested ridges of Koh Ngam, a small island some 200 metres off the south-eastern tip of Koh Chang. The island has been part of Mu Ko Chang National Park since 1982. It is reached by boat or a 10–15 minute kayak paddle; from November to January, strong winds funnelling across the isthmus can endanger small boats.
