Klong Mad is a modest beach in a small bay on Koh Kood’s northwest coast, in front of a resort and beside the fishing hamlet of the same name, whose stilt houses stand over a quiet inlet. Local boats can be hired nearby for the trip of about ten minutes to the snorkelling site around the islet of Koh Raet.
