About this beach

Ao Yai Kerd is a crescent-shaped beach of around 800 metres on Koh Kood’s quiet east coast, backed by hills and shaded by coconut palms. With no road access, it is reached by chartered boat. The shallow bay suits kayaking, and coral lies off the headland. A path through rubber plantations leads in about 15 minutes to Ao Kluai, where visitors go to watch the sunrise.
