Ao Tapao is a long, continuous stretch of sand on Koh Kood’s west coast, facing west-southwest towards the sunset. Several resorts occupy its northern and central parts, while the shore south of them remains undeveloped. The island’s hospital, police station, temple and shops lie close by in the Hin Dam area.
