Klong Chao is the main resort beach on Koh Kood’s west coast, lying where the stream from Khlong Chao Waterfall meets the sea. Behind the sand, the river estuary is lined with bungalows, homestays and small restaurants, while beachfront resorts and bars face west for the sunset. Kayaks can be paddled up the river through mangroves.
