Haad Tien is a small sandy bay on the south-east coast of Koh Phangan, just north of Haad Yuan beyond the Laem Klang headland. Taxi boats run from Haad Rin; when the waves are too high, 4x4 taxis take about 40 minutes over rough jungle tracks, and a hiking trail also links the bay with Haad Rin. Its small resorts are known for wellness, yoga and fitness retreats.
