About this beach
Haad Son, also known as Secret Beach, is a small sandy bay on Koh Phangan’s west coast. A resort occupies its northern end; the rest of the bay is less built up, with soft sand framed by coconut palms and boulders and a beach bar with bungalows behind it. A coral reef lies within about 70 m of the shore, and the tiny islet of Koh Raham at the northern tip can be reached on foot to watch the sunset.
