About this beach
Haad Salad is a sandy cove on Koh Phangan’s northwest coast, lined with bungalow resorts and beachside restaurants. It faces northwest, so sunsets over the sea are one of its big draws, and this stretch of coast is also known for its varied underwater life. The Thai name recalls the pirates who are said to have once used the bay as a hideout.
