About this beach
Haad Rin Nai, also known as Sunset Beach, lines the south-west side of the Haad Rin peninsula at Koh Phangan’s southern tip, opposite Haad Rin Nok, home of the Full Moon Party. Over a kilometre long, its narrow strip of coarse, dark-golden sand with coral fragments fronts a rocky seabed and in places almost vanishes at high tide. The Haad Rin Queen pier is at the southern end, with sunset views towards Koh Samui.
