YCW
- Surf spot
YCW is a sandy beach on Phillip Island’s southern coast near Smiths Beach, set in a small bay with low coastal surroundings. Its generally gentler, consistent waves are used by beginner surfers, surf schools and learners, although the beach is unpatrolled and not recommended for swimming. Access is via Beachcomber Avenue, with a public car park and toilet block at the beach entrance. Because this is an exposed coastal setting, visitors should assess wind, waves and currents before entering the water.
