Aspendale Beach
Aspendale Beach is a broad, flat sandy beach on Melbourne’s south-eastern Port Phillip shoreline, extending for about three kilometres. Low dunes, grassy areas and a line of historic beach huts give the foreshore a distinctly local character. The beach is about 200 metres from Aspendale railway station and has an accessible ticketed car park, boardwalk, shower, toilet, benches and picnic tables. If you plan to swim, use the patrolled section, follow local signs and assess conditions for yourself. There is also an off-leash dog area.
