Addiscot Beach

Addiscot Beach lies on the Bass Strait coast between Point Addis and Bells Beach, backed by tall, weathered cliffs and a sandy shore. It is reached from the Great Ocean Road via Point Addis Road; a car park, path and stairway lead down to the beach, with public toilets near the parking areas. Visitors come for surfing, summer swimming and low-tide rock pooling. The protected coastal setting and dramatic cliffs are distinctive, but the beach is unpatrolled and visitors should take care around waves, currents, tides and cliff edges. The eastern end is an officially designated optional-clothing section.
