Altona Dog Beach
Altona Dog Beach is a sandy Port Phillip Bay beach set aside for spending time by the water with dogs. Shallow water, sand that widens as the tide changes and the fenced off-leash area in nearby PA Burns Reserve shape its visitor experience. Parking is available to the north of the beach; dogs should remain under control on access paths and visitors should follow local beach rules. It is a casual pet-oriented shoreline rather than an established surf beach.
