Werribee South Dog Beach
- Family friendly
Werribee South Dog Beach is a sandy public dog beach on the western shore of Port Phillip Bay at Werribee South. Dogs may run off leash within the designated section, with visitors expected to follow the signs and keep dogs controlled outside its boundaries. Nearby facilities include a beach car park, public toilets, a children’s playground, barbecues and a shared coastal walking and cycling trail, while fish and chips are available at nearby Anglers Anchorage. The quiet bay setting suits swimming, beach play and dog walking, but the swimming beaches are generally unpatrolled and conditions should be judged conservatively.
