Thirteenth Beach

Thirteenth Beach is a broad, sandy stretch of about 4.5 kilometres west of Barwon Heads, opening onto Bass Strait. Dunes and remnant coastal vegetation back the shore, giving the area a more natural character than a built-up town beach. The foreshore provides free parking, public toilets and a walking path, while the coast is used for walking, cycling, beachcombing and surfing. As an exposed ocean beach with varied breaks, wave and current conditions can change, so visitors should check local advice before entering the water.
