Summerland Beach
- Surf spot
Summerland Beach lies on Phillip Island’s Summerlands Peninsula and is an open surf beach about 1.2 kilometres long, with fine sand, a wide beach face and a continuous sand bar. It is known for surfing, beach walking and fishing. Daytime access is available from the Penguin Parade car park, although access is restricted during the evening Penguin Parade. Toilets and parking are available at Summerlands, with food and drinks at the Nobbies Centre nearby. Strong rips, increasing waves toward the east and the absence of lifesaver patrols call for particular caution in the water.
