Stockton Beach

Stockton Beach is a long sandy shore backed by dunes along Newcastle’s coast. The urban section is listed at 6.7 kilometres and supports surfing, SUP lessons, fishing, beach walks and competitions; parking, picnic areas, a kiosk, showers and public toilets serve the main access area. Farther north, Stockton Bight continues toward the Worimi Conservation Lands with large dunes and 4WD experiences. Long-term coastal erosion has affected dune edges and access points, so visitors should follow signage and watch changing conditions.
