Bar Beach (Newcastle)
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Bar Beach (Newcastle) is a sandy urban beach with views towards Newcastle’s southern beaches and headlands. A natural rock pool in the northern corner is popular with families, while the foreshore provides parking, picnic and shade areas, a kiosk, public toilets and showers. Surf and other coastal activities are part of the beach character, but children should be closely supervised around the pool and changing ocean conditions.
