St Pauls Beach
St Pauls Beach is a small sandy cove near Sorrento, set below calcarenite cliffs within the coastal landscape of Mornington Peninsula National Park. Access is via steep steps, and the surrounding shore features fossilised dunes, rock platforms, tidal rock pools, arches and caves. Warnings about tides and falling rocks make careful movement essential, while the reef- and rock-dominated nearshore is a reason to treat swimming cautiously. The cove is best suited to short walks, photography and close-up exploration of a rugged natural shoreline.
