Shelly Beach
Shelly Beach is a sandy bay between Sorrento and Portsea, framed by ti-tree, private jetties, colourful boatsheds and bathing boxes. Two access ramps lead down to the shore, but parking is extremely limited, with the nearby Hemston Avenue area serving as a practical access point. Shaped by cliffs, shifting sand and tidal erosion, it is best suited to a quiet beach walk and coastal views; take care around access points and changing shore conditions.
