Safety Beach
- Family friendly
Safety Beach is a roughly 2.7-kilometre sandy bay beach on the Mornington Peninsula, set in the protected waters of Dromana Bay. The shoreline curves toward Martha Point and eventually faces west; the calm bay is used for swimming, canoeing and paddleboarding, although wind and marine conditions can change and visitors should check local warnings before entering the water. Beach-side and nearby parking, picnic tables, a playground, public toilets and a café make the foreshore practical for a relaxed day out. The Bay Trail adds a coastal walking option, with Tassells Cove and the yacht-club area nearby.
