McCrae Beach

McCrae Beach is a multi-kilometre stretch of white sand on Port Phillip Bay, extending between Anthony’s Nose and Rosebud. High cliffs and a pleasant wooded strip behind the road give the foreshore a distinctive landscape. It is used for swimming and coastal walks, with a car park, family-friendly facilities and public toilets available for visitors. The shoreline has experienced erosion and sand loss, so its width and beach profile can change over time.
