Grassy Point West Beach
Grassy Point West Beach is a low-lying Portarlington foreshore on the northern side of Port Phillip Bay. Its sandy shore sits beside open foreshore reserve, with nearby coastal saltmarsh, wetlands, seagrass and rocky outcrops adding interest beyond the beach itself. It is best suited to quiet shoreline walks, views and nature observation rather than a highly serviced beach day. Because parts of the foreshore are exposed to erosion and inundation, visitors should follow local signs and stay mindful of changing coastal conditions.
