Frankston Beach

Frankston Beach is a public sandy beach on Port Phillip Bay beside Frankston Waterfront Reserve. The pier, boardwalks, picnic spaces and foreshore playground create a convenient setting for swimming, fishing, family time and an easy shoreline walk. Parking, public toilets, outdoor showers and cafes or restaurants are available in the surrounding waterfront precinct, while beach matting and accessible equipment may be provided through the accessible-beach program during selected periods. The pier area has warnings about shallow water, submerged objects and strong currents, so visitors should follow local signs and advice before entering the water.
