Edward Street Beach

Edward Street Beach is a compact sandy stretch on Port Phillip Bay between Royal Avenue and Red Bluff in Sandringham. The foreshore combines a nourished beach with rock groynes and erosion-prone cliffs, giving the shoreline a distinctive urban coastal character. An access ramp supports walks, relaxing by the water and swimming when conditions suit. The sandy area can narrow at high tide, so keep clear of the cliffs and follow local beach warnings.
