Edithvale Beach
Edithvale Beach is a wide sandy shoreline in the Melbourne suburb of Edithvale, backed by low dunes and a collection of historic beach huts. The foreshore reserve provides open space for sitting and picnicking, while the refurbished surf lifesaving club area includes accessible paths, parking, showers and toilets. A designated off-leash dog area adds another practical feature for local visitors. Edithvale Beach is well suited to a relaxed urban coastal walk, beach day or quiet break beside Port Phillip Bay.
