Dendy Street Beach
Dendy Street Beach is a sandy Port Phillip Bay beach in Melbourne’s Bayside, reached from the Brighton foreshore. Its distinctive setting combines vegetated dunes with a line of brightly painted historic bathing boxes, one of Melbourne’s best-known coastal scenes. Visitors use the beach for swimming, sunbathing, foreshore walks and, in suitable conditions, water activities. Nearby facilities include public toilets, showers, car parking and a pavilion café. Bay weather and wind can change conditions, and the popular foreshore may become crowded on sunny days.
