About this beach
Thung Wua Laen, also known as Running Bull Beach, is a long curved bay north-east of Chumphon town with fine, soft pale sand and shallow water that deepens gradually. The southern end near the hill is rocky, and the beach is a starting point for diving trips to nearby islands. Sand flies can be present, so insect repellent is useful.
